Greenville-Based Construction Firm Teams Up with Scheuten Solar

O'Neal, Inc., a Greenville-based integrated design and construction firm, today announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Scheuten Solar USA, Inc. a California-based provider of PV solar systems, to jointly market and install PV solar systems.

"We are pleased to partner with Scheuten Solar USA to offer PV solar solutions to the market," said Kevin Bean, O'Neal's president and CEO. "Scheuten is a proven world leader in solar and glass technologies," he added.

Through the partnership, O'Neal and Scheuten Solar USA plan to offer turn-key PV solar systems for industrial, commercial, institutional, and utility scale solar projects. The companies will conduct site feasibility analysis and offer solar system design, installation, commissioning, maintenance and monitoring services. O'Neal and Scheuten also plan to work with other solar distributors and installers in the Southeast.

"This is a natural entree to our focus on the growing renewable market. The number of people and companies interested in exploring solar technologies is up dramatically. We've partnered with Scheuten Solar USA so that we can deliver turn-key renewable solutions to our customers, and can help them navigate the tax and regulatory aspects of solar energy," Bean said.

According to Bean, the solar market is poised for significant growth. "The financial case for solar, initial cost and return on investment, has improved drastically as equipment costs have lowered and incentives have risen," said Bean. "We believe the case for solar is solid now and will only get better. O'Neal plans on being part of this growing market."
