Combining the latest advanced performance and maintenance technology with a superbly fresh colour palette, new Polysafe Corona - the latest innovation in sheet vinyl safety floors from Polyflor Ltd - is "the future of safety flooring", says the company.
"Low maintenance Polysafe Corona is the first of a number of major initiatives we have planned for the safety sector this year, pushing the frontiers of the market and clearly signposting its future direction," says Polyflor marketing manager Simon James.
"Over the past 20 years we have established a comprehensive portfolio of genuine safety floors, carefully developed to meet the spectrum of market need. The new products now coming forward confirm our determination to maintain this leading position."
A key benefit of new 2mm gauge Polysafe Corona is the incorporation of Supratec+, the second generation of Polyflor's unique soil releasing polymer system, now including polyurethane for reduced dirt pick up, even easier maintenance and cleaning cost savings of up to 60%.
The range also features a new advanced formulation, providing enhanced flexibility for even easier fitting and welding, plus a sustainable 36 slip resistance (RRL Pendulum wet test - Four-S rubber) complying with Health and Safety Executive guidance and with prEN 13845, the proposed new European slip standard.
The practical appeal of the range is matched by its aesthetic appearance - a superb choice of 12 fresh, vivid colours, carefully chosen to complement with shades available in Polyflor's heavy duty smooth range of commercial floor coverings, thus enabling architects and designers to co-ordinate and contrast colours in different use areas.
"At the same time as launching new Polysafe Corona, our original Supratec safety floors Polysafe Astral and Polysafe Design now also incorporate Supratec+, giving the market an unrivalled choice of three top of the market safety floors - each providing outstanding performance, maintenance and appearance benefits," says Simon James.
