The International Hardware Fair Cologne from February 28 to March 3, 2010, offers an inviting and unique range of hands-on products and innovations. A total of 53 exhibitors from Hong Kong will be on site, with 28 of them on a combined stand (from A-008) in Hall 3.1 organised by Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC).

Lomak Ind. Co. Ltd. offers lighting ideas for indoors and out: LED floodlights, car and bicycle lamps or energy-saving LED nightlights for nursery and children's rooms.
Everything required as painting supplies can be found at ONB Hardware Factory (China) Ltd., whilst Bo Ming Ltd. is present as one of the leading manufacturers of scaffolding.
In view of the growing quality awareness among international customers, Hong Kong companies have consistently developed their quality assurance. Experts believe that Hong Kong's building industry will continue to undergo a positive development in view of numerous megaprojects.
In 2009, Hong Kong exported building materials including hardware to a total value of USD 10.8 billion. Exports had fallen by nearly one fifth in comparison to the previous year. Main customers were China, the USA, Japan and Germany. Germany purchased building materials and hardware for USD 258 million (- 23 %), whilst Hong Kong imported goods to a value of USD 296 million from Germany (-13.7 %).
