Launch of New Architectural Firm in Los Angeles

Richard Manion, the low profile but highly regarded Los Angeles architect, specializes in classical and traditional architecture. His new firm, Richard Manion Architecture, has a roster of top clients and a stunning portfolio of residences that range in style from country English estates to French chateaux to Mediterranean villas.

Richard Manion has been called “the David Adler of Los Angeles” by one of Architectural Digest’s Top 100 designers. His firm’s knowledge of regional architecture combined with meticulous attention to detail and hands-on service at every stage of the construction process have earned them high praise from some of the world’s most discerning clients, interior designers and builders.

Richard Manion has designed residences from Malibu to Beverly Hills, Bel-Air and Newport Beach as well as in New York, Nevada, Idaho and Hawaii and has completed projects in China, France, Mexico, Singapore and Indonesia.

Industry-wide recognition includes features in Architectural Digest, Veranda, Robb Report, California Homes and Angeleno magazines and inclusion in the Franklin Report, Dream Homes Los Angeles and the Legendary Estates of Beverly Hills. The first book of Richard Manion’s residential work will be published by Images Publishing in 2011.

Richard Manion studied architecture at Columbia, worked after graduation in the New York offices of Robert A.M. Stern Architects and Venturi, Rauch, Scott Brown and was a partner for 15 years in Hablinski + Manion in Los Angeles.

Richard Manion is a member of the AIA, the Institute of Classical Architecture & Classical America, the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the Los Angeles Conservancy.
