The Kelly-Moore Paint Company today announced that it will add 11 new stores as part of its expansion plans and to better serve its growing base of California customers.
The new stores, which are scheduled to open throughout 2005, are part of the company's aggressive plans to expand its share of California's growing market.
"We believe this expansion plan will allow us to better serve our customers," said Kelly-Moore President & CEO Herb R. Giffins. "Kelly-Moore has been the painter's paint store for nearly 60 years and we are looking forward to another 60 years of success."
New store locations are:
- Manteca - Now Open
- Watsonville - Now Open
- Citrus Heights - Now Open
- Salida - Now Open
- Sunnyvale - Now Open
- Sacramento - Mack Road - Now Open
- Auburn - Opening in Spring, 2005
- Woodland - Opening in Spring, 2005
- Pacific Grove - Opening in Spring, 2005
- Alameda - Opening in Summer, 2005
- Visalia - Opening in Summer, 2005
Kelly-Moore also announced that it has retained a nationally recognized public relations and marketing agency, Singer Associates, to help promote its expansion plans. Kelly-Moore, headquarted in San Carlos, is the largest employee owned paint company in the United States.
