Announcing the launch of Edifiche, LLC, a new independent information service that offers customized research and database consulting for architecture firms and libraries worldwide.
Providing services that apply the structures of business, computer science, and library science to tracking trends in art and architecture, Edifiche will transform current forms of primary research and data collection, using the most modern and comprehensive tools to streamline and simplify any project.
In recent years, companies around the world have come to understand the value of independent information services, outsourcing more projects to these professionals every day. Edifiche conducts primary research using licensed databases, accesses press clippings, creates market reports, and synthesizes and analyzes information more quickly and efficiently than you can do it yourself. Clients can expect competitive intelligence and customized investigation as well as clear guidance about developing collections and library management -- all within tight deadlines.
Drawing upon her years of experience as the reference librarian in the architecture library at Clemson University and her work in the library of the architecture firm Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, LLP, Sarah Legins, the founder of Edifiche, has come to understand not only how to find what her clients need, but also how to help them clarify exactly what it is they are seeking. With a B.A. in Art History from Bowdoin College, a dual Masters in Library Science and Art & Architectural History from Pratt Institute, and years of work in the stock photography industry, Legins is uniquely qualified to offer companies individualized services as they acquire, sort, and manage all types of information.
