New Home Green Materials and Learning Center Announces Alliance with WorldBridge Partners

New Home Green Materials and Learning Center, a start-up green home improvement store chain, today announced a new strategic alliance with WorldBridge Partners, a global executive search firm with nine US offices.

WorldBridge specializes in clean technology sector businesses and offers comprehensive services including connecting early stage companies with venture capital firms and private equity investors that specialize in this fast-growing area.

“We’re coming on board as a strategic advisor for New Home to help them build out their executive, sales and operating teams and facilitate their capital raise,” said Dave Sanders, a founding member and managing partner for WorldBridge Partners . “What’s unique about WorldBridge is our ability to help companies scale up quickly for rapid expansion, which New Home is uniquely poised to do.”

New Home will be one of the first companies to offer green building materials at the same price and convenience as non-green stores like Home Depot and Lowe`s. But New Home will also offer robust online ecommerce services when it launches its full website. In addition, it will present extensive in-store and online education, social networking opportunities for contractors and homeowners.

“New Home is the new wave for blending the best of traditional brick and mortar stores with the best of the web,” said Sanders. “It’s a game-changing transformational approach to delivering green products with maximum cost effectiveness.”

Green building materials continues to be a bright spot in the US economy with $57 billion in sales in 2008, according to the San Francisco Business Times. The US Green Building Council expects the market to continue to grow to over $200 billion in the next few years including both new construction and retrofits.

“With the increased national and international focus on energy independence and clean energy alternatives, WorldBridge Partners is well positioned to help New Home capitalize on this growth by providing them with access to strategic talent, capital, and industry veterans who can help accelerate their growth,” Sanders said.

Dave Sanders was recently appointed Chairman for SARTA (Sacramento Area Regional Technology Alliance), a Sacramento nonprofit dedicated to promoting the region's green technology initiatives. SARTA created the first quarterly index to track a local tech industry’s economic health.
