URS Corp. to Provide Engineering Services to NSWC Crane Flight Systems Division

Contract Has Maximum Value of $42 Million to URS

URS Corporation (NYSE:URS) today announced that it has been selected to provide logistics, engineering and project management support for the Flight Systems Division of the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC Crane) in Crane, Indiana. The contract has two base years and three additional option years for a total five-year period of performance. It has a maximum value of $42 million to URS.

Under the terms of the contract, URS will provide a range of services, including technical and specialty engineering, instrumentation testing, data collection and analysis, hardware and software integration, supply chain management, maintenance, logistics planning and forecasting, technical documentation, and program support for the Navy’s Strategic Systems Programs, Missile Defense Agency, and the Space and Missile Defense Command.

Commenting on the award, Randall A. Wotring, President of URS’ EG&G Division, said, “We are pleased to have been selected for this contract, which underscores the depth of URS’ technical services and engineering capabilities in the defense market. We look forward to continuing our relationship with NSWC Crane and supporting their critical defense initiatives.”

On August 4, 2009, URS announced a separate contract with NSWC Crane to support the Technology and Infrastructure Protection Division.
