LED lights expected to deliver bolder colors this holiday season
The holiday season is always highly anticipated by young and old alike, and one of the season's most welcomed features is a beautiful decorated home. From sparkling lights brightening up the black night to garland gracefully accentuating a house's architectural lines, the right decorations can say happy holidays like nothing else.
Creating a stunning, classical look or a more contemporary design can really set your home apart in your neighborhood, says Blake Smith, president of Christmas Decor, Inc., who adds that the best designs are those that represent the homeowner's love of the holidays. "Whatever our clients want in design, we try to achieve, and many times they look to us for recommendations," said Smith. "We work very hard staying up-to-date not only with the trends but with the latest products, and we are always training and learning."
Smith notes that this year's designs will feature more bold colors produced from brighter LED lights that deliver a greater impact. "Many people are accustomed to seeing LED lights available in stores, but they may not fully understand what the product delivers," said Smith. "LED stands for 'light emitting diode,' and LEDs are about 90 percent more energy efficient than traditional incandescent light bulbs."
However, whether it's with LEDs or other accessories, decorating the exterior of a home can often be viewed as a beastly chore. With ladders to climb, electricity to evaluate and all those strands of lights to untangle, decorating can easily become a treacherous and tedious task.
"We really eliminate all decorating hassles for residents. We are thoroughly trained and insured and up-to-date on all the latest trends," added Smith. "From the design and installation, to pro-active maintenance and take down, we handle everything for our clients. Our services really give people back more time for their holidays and family."
