Tigo Energy's Maximizer ES and EP Solar Products Added in CEC Eligible Products List

Tigo Energy, the solar company whose unique technology brings new levels of power output efficiency, management and control to photovoltaic solar installations, announced today that the Tigo Energy(TM) Maximizer ES and EP products have been listed on the CEC list of eligible equipment.

Lists of CEC-certified eligible equipment are available at the following website: https://www.northernpacificpower.com/

In addition, Tigo Energy Inc. has been listed as a Performance Monitoring and Reporting Service Provider. The California Solar Initiative Handbook states: "PV System components must be certified by the California Energy Commission. Tigo Energy is the first company in its category to achieve this listing.

The CEC listing comes shortly after the company announced the Tigo Energy Maximizer system received UL1741 Certificate of Compliance from CSA. This listing allows Californian PV system owners to include the Tigo Energy Maximizers in their PV systems, creating more energy from regained kWh per module, system visibility and control through the Tigo Energy(TM) Management Unit and Tigo Energy(TM) MaxiManager software suite.

"The technology Tigo Energy has developed here in California has the potential to accelerate PV adoption worldwide in both residential and large-scale projects and we are pleased for them that they have been recognized by the CEC," said Gary Gerber, CEO of Sun Light & Power and President of CALSEIA.

The Balance of Systems leader is the first DC-side Maximizer solution with panel-level monitoring to achieve the CSA listing and compliance to UL 1741. "We can move forward in supplying the unique value our customers are demanding - more efficient PV systems, higher total energy output, more visibility and control of the system down to the panel level, and decision-based tools for improving performance metrics over the life of the system," explained Sam Arditi, Tigo Energy's CEO. "We see system monitoring evolving from a passive role to an active role of dynamic control from installation commissioning throughout the life of the system."

Tigo Energy will be showcasing the CEC listed Maximizer ES and EP at Solar Power '09 in Anaheim, California from October 27-29 at Booth 127.
