Skire, Inc., the leading provider of capital program, facilities, real estate and project portfolio management software, today announced that Auburn University has chosen Skire Unifier™ to provide real-time information for capital program management across all departments for project stakeholders.
The Unifier platform will provide a single, Web-based platform for automating the collection of project proposals, managing estimates and funding, scheduling, document management and dashboard reporting.
“Accurate, timely information is the key to effective management of our extensive capital program portfolio,” said David DiPofi, director of design and construction services for Auburn University. “Sophisticated business intelligence and reporting transparency are features that we want to deliver to our departmental clients while simultaneously providing automated detailed cost, scheduling and document management capabilities to our project managers.”
Auburn University's Facilities Design and Construction division is responsible for client projects across 34 university departments. The ability to gain at-a-glance status of any project will allow the division to optimize capital program management. Skire Unifier will deliver the ability to automate collection of suggested project ideas, initial estimating, funding, cost management, scheduling and document management.
A key feature of the new system is its ability to automatically deliver exception reporting across the entire university project portfolio with executive-level dashboards. This capability will significantly simplify the division's ability to disseminate information to its clients in real time.
"We are pleased to be chosen by Auburn University as its preferred capital program management solution via a Skire-hosted Software as a Service (SaaS) model," said John Leet, director of marketing for Skire. "The university will benefit from Unifier's capabilities, and our ability to work with its existing workflows will accelerate deployment and return on investment."
