£5.4m Nursing Home Deal Goes to Baxter and King

Peterborough-based contractor Baxter and King has won a £5.4m nursing home deal in Portsmouth from social care provider Care UK.

The contract is for the design-and-build of a 92-bed nursing home in Portsmouth.

Care UK was awarded the design, build, operations and maintenance contract last month by client Portsmouth City Council, worth £35m in total.

Baxter and King was selected as Care UK's construction partner at preferred bidder stage.
