Nursing Home Deal Won by Connaught

Connaught has been awarded a £35m nursing home deal by Portsmouth City Council.

The contract is for the design, build, operation and maintenance of a 92-bed nursing home in Portsmouth, of which 62 will be filled by the council and the remainder available at private rates.

The contract award was weighted according to the following criteria: care services (50%); building design, construction and FM (40%); commercial terms (10%).

Around 20% of the value of the contract is likely to be subcontracted.
