Green building has quickly evolved from a trend into the accepted standard - not only in new design and construction, but also in retrofits of existing structures.
To assist industry professionals in learning more about how retrofit projects are embracing green, McGraw-Hill Construction will present a two-day conference, "Green Retrofit: Changing the Landscape of Existing Buildings." The event will be held October 21-22 at The McGraw-Hill Companies' corporate headquarters, 1221 Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan.
At the event, McGraw-Hill Construction's Harvey Bernstein, Vice President of Industry Analytics, Alliances & Strategic Initiatives, will present cutting-edge research from this landmark market research study including first-ever content on the market activity and opportunity for green in retrofit. The report, "Green Building Retrofit & Renovation: Rapidly Expanding Market Opportunities through Existing Buildings," is the latest in the landmark SmartMarket Report and research studies series.
The Green Retrofit event is expected to attract more than 200 design and construction professionals including architects/designers, engineers, contractors, owners, developers, project and construction managers, building product manufacturers, association executives, educators, and government officials. During the two-day event, attendees will benefit from groundbreaking presentations and panel discussions on retrofit projects, addressing their economic impact and their potential energy, financial and tax savings for owners.
