Uniboard entered the Australian and New Zealand markets during April 2008 with an enormous impact. This strong yet lightweight and universal replacement to marine ply board, plywood and traditional construction materials has revolutionised traditional engineering and design thought process. Uniboard outperforms its traditional timber rivals due to its advanced polymer structure which ensures this material is almost indestructible.
Timber, like any construction material can have problems, many of which stem from neglecting regular maintenance. Uniboard is rustproof, chemical, bacteria and mould resistant. The acoustic properties are similar to that of the latest sound barrier materials so it is ideal for a wide range of applications. Best of all, Uniboard is easy to work able to be cut, routered, drilled, and mechanically fastened with standard hardware materials such as screws and regular construction adhesives. The non-stick surface cleans easily, is scratch resistant and allows easy removal of graffiti where required.
These attributes allow craftsman such as, shopfitters, cabinet makers or the home handyman/women an alternate solution to tired old timber panels.
This multipurpose flat panel product is almost 10% lighter than most plywood and marine ply, 30% lighter than cement sheet and more than 200% lighter than aluminium.
Mainstream applications for Uniboard have grown to include the construction of battery boxes, major retail shelving and pallets, concrete formwork, scaffolding floors and cubby house/dog kennel flooring. Other applications for Uniboard include electrical cabinetry, caravan and bus flooring and horse stable partitions.
The same dedication and care that goes into the design and manufacture of our Uniboard is extended to the range of colours that are offered. Dotmar's Uniboard is available in colours such as *Blue, Yellow, Green, Red and Black. Other colours are also available upon request (MOQ's apply).
