Improvements In Their Environmental Efforts Earns Recognition for H+H

H+H UK’s continued commitment to improving its environmental performance is demonstrated by the fact that it has moved further up the Sunday Times Green Companies list – appearing at number 29 overall (10 in the list of construction companies) in the results to be published on 24 May. In last year’s list the company appeared at number 32 overall.

Initiatives aimed at: improving the energy efficiency of all processes, recycling water, reducing vehicle journeys and, most ambitiously, plans to build a power generating wind turbine have all contributed to H+H’s impressive performance.

“Despite the challenging trading conditions we are determined to remain focused on environmental issues” summarised MD Mark Oliver who also draws attention to the company’s certification under the Carbon Trust Standard and its long-standing commitment to ISO 14001.
