The Staubach Company, a leading global real estate advisory firm, announces its inclusion in Keith McFarland's lauded book, "The Breakthrough Company: How Everyday Companies Become Extraordinary Performers." The book was released through publisher, Random House.
Keith McFarland, author of "The Breakthrough Company," is known for identifying extraordinary performance. He has had tenures as CEO of two top technology firms and a post as the associate dean of Pepperdine University's business school; in addition McFarland also writes a regular online column for BusinessWeek and is a contributing writer for Inc. magazine. The bottom line is that executives want to know what he thinks. But the founder of McFarland Strategy Partners wanted to know more -- in short, he wanted to define a set of strategies and skills that would make any company, anywhere thrive.
McFarland was encouraged to identify the drivers that enable a company to push past the entrepreneurial phase by experts such as business legend Peter Drucker and "Good to Great" author Jim Collins. He spent five years building and analyzing the world's largest growth-company performance database and interviewing more than 1,500 growth-company executives on four continents. His book, "The Breakthrough Company," is full of eye-opening, myth-busting revelations.
"We are thrilled to be included in a book that will be coveted by the business industry. 'The Breakthrough Company' highlights our unique strengths and showcases the talented professionals that make up our Company," said Whitley Collins, managing principal, Staubach's Los Angeles Region. "We will continue using the strategies set by our Chairman, Roger Staubach, to propel us to even greater success."
