A newly developed fixture from Outdoor Lighting Perspectives (OLP), a world leader in outdoor residential lighting systems, offers a combination of path and flood light features all in a single fixture. The fixture is designed for special applications in which flood and path lighting are needed in adjacent locations.
"This fixture is ideal if you have a path that needs illumination adjacent to a wall, landscaped area or other outdoor feature that you would like to highlight," said Winston Edwards, an outdoor lighting specialist with OLP. "By combining the features of a path and a flood light into a single fixture, you can reduce costs by installing one light instead of two."
OLP's new "BB7 Flood" features a half hood that directs 180-degrees of light to a path on one side and 180 degrees of flood lighting on the other. As with all OLP fixtures, the new light features copper and brass construction and no-corrosion stainless steel sockets, plus a long-life 20-watt halogen bulb.
"We are continually exploring innovations in outdoor lighting fixtures and systems, as the BB7 Flood indicates," Edwards said. "Our goal is to provide durable, reliable systems that contribute to the beauty, safety and the security of homes."
