AARP and the National Association of Home Builders 2007 Livable Communities Awards

AARP and the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) developed this special awards program to recognize forward-thinking builders, remodelers, and developers whose cutting-edge designs enhance the daily comfort, ease-of-use, and safety of American families.

Nine out of 10 Americans age 50+ say that they want to stay in their current homes and communities as they age. The design elements and features produced by the 2007 award winners help make real the goal of assuring independence, comfort, and safety through design and diversity of housing and services in communities. AARP and NAHB are proud to recognize these winners:
