Introducing the new Models 700 and 701 by US Door & Building Components, the only roll-up door specifically designed for applications requiring a door that will stand up to heavy motorized traffic but is less expensive than alternative heavy duty service doors.
"The specially designed rolling slat door is the latest addition to our line of commercial doors," said Chip Cordes, Vice President of US Door & Building Components. "The Models 700 series of doors are intended to fill an unmet need in the rolling steel door market."
The replaceable slats are 3" high and are made from 24 gauge hot-dipped galvanized steel. Individual slats can be replaced easily if damaged by equipment traffic insuring security, safety and long lasting aesthetic appeal. Additional features include a fully enclosed 12" galvanized steel barrel, extruded aluminum bottom bar, 16 gauge roll-formed galvanized steel guides, PVC bulb-type astragal to seal against irregular floors, chain hoist, and UHM (Ultra High Molecular) Nylon end locks for a quiet and smooth operation. Options include cast end locks and windlocks, electric operation, and 20 gauge hex-shaped hood assembly. Doors can be installed in a steel, masonry or wood jamb, are available in sizes up to 14' wide by 14' high.
All models with slat finishes of galvanized, satin white, lightstone tan or duro-bronze. The Model 700 features a curved profile while the 701 has a flat profile. Curtain and barrel assembly ships fully assembled in an exclusive EZ-Install package. The packaging also prevents damage during shipping and protects the doors until the final installation is complete.
The 700 Series doors exceed standard wind loads for most commercial applications and come with a one year warranty against material defects and workmanship. Painted doors have a 20 year limited warranty against chalking and fading. All models are available for shipment from locations in Orlando, FL and Mesa, AZ.
