Quality Laminate Floors Resembling Natural Stone Tile Launched

Consumers can now obtain a wider range of laminate tile flooring effects in the new Kronotex Mega series recently launched by BuildDirect. The new series, consisting of four product offerings, gives a variety of effects that resemble natural stone tile, but leaves out the detailed preparation and required upkeep involved when installing and maintaining the real slate tile. The new series launch is a response to a demand for more varied laminate flooring effects by customers who are increasingly more design-focused.

"Our offering of quality laminate floors has expanded in the last few months - and that means more choices for the kinds of effects our customers want," says Rob Banks, Executive Vice-President of Sales at BuildDirect. "Our new Kronotex laminate tile flooring range is a recent example of this effort." The versatility of the line is also an attractive prospect to buyers. Says Banks, "These floors can be put in residences, but they're also made to stand up to commercial traffic too."

The new line of Kronotex laminate tile flooring, starting in price from $1.49/sq.ft. offers the following benefits:

  • a durable material designed for frequent traffic
  • an authentic replication of slate tile surfaces, including textured "grout lines"
  • faster implementation than natural stone tiles which take longer to install
