Ceramica Vallelunga Increase Production Capacity of Top Format Ceramic Tiles

Numerous models available and two main core businesses: floor and wall tiles. This is Ceramica Vallelunga, company based in Nepi (Viterbo), specialized in the production of ceramic, porcelanized stoneware and “cotto” tiles. The latest news is the start up of a new single layer FMS 255 model kiln, 73.5 meters supplied by Sacmi in its production plants in Vallelunga.

The aim of the new machine is to actuate a project started last year to streamline and increase production output of the company’s top formats. In fact, this model is the perfect solution for the production of 500x500 mm tiles. This new kiln model boasts several innovative features, in particular regarding energy savings: in fact, the machine is equipped with a BSR system with heat exchanger that aids in optimizing heat consumption. In addition, the FMS 255 kiln is equipped with a set of superior quality ceramic rollers, manufactured by Keratech, subsidiary of the Sacmi Group.

A growth project for the renown company of Nepi – chaired by Giuliano Brunelli belonging to the same family – that can now be considered concluded. In fact, a PH 3800 press with EVA 984 model drier, produced by Sacmi, were started up over the last few months. An example of a dynamic and highly competitive environment even outside the “heart” of the Italian ceramic industry, the district of Sassuolo: in fact Vallelunga, has 150 employees for over 25 million euros sales proceeds yearly and has demonstrated its desire to focus on innovation and growth entrusting themselves once again to the quality and reliability of Sacmi equipment.
