Wavin Divests Electronics Business

Wavin N.V., leading supplier of plastic pipe systems and solutions in Europe, today announces that it has signed an agreement to sell a non-core Finnish electronics activity to Indutrade AB (Sweden). The related unit markets and sells measuring devices and signalling equipment for remote monitoring of fluids that are kept in separators or tanks. In 2006, the unit employed 35 people and had revenues of approximately EUR 6.5 million.

The divestment will enable Wavin to further concentrate on the development of its core activities in Finland.

Parties have agreed not to disclose the financial details of the transaction.
