Home Heating and Ventilation Supplier Hosts Low Carbon Open Day

Applied Energy Products, home to heating and ventilation brands Xpelair, Creda, Redring and Stiebel Eltron has launched the first in a series of Low Carbon Open Days for contractors across the country. The first, attended by 35 leading electrical contractors, was voted a great success and combined a CPD accredited low carbon heating presentation with a full showcase of low energy heating, hot water and ventilation products.

Applied Energy has invested several million pounds in developing leading energy efficient heating and ventilation solutions, to meet and exceed the requirements of Parts L & F of the building regulations.

Richard Scott, Business Manager for Applied Energy said, “In many cases the most cost effect way to meet Part L is to install Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) into a building with best practice standards of air-tightness. Our open day is a chance to learn how this is combined with low carbon electric heating and hot water; we think it’s the future for flats and apartments across the country”.

The first open day was hosted at the company’s Peterborough factory – where attendees were treated to a VIP day, including a tour of the manufacturing facility, customer centre and product showroom.

Product experts and senior managers were on hand for the detailed and lively Q&A session which completed the day.

Further low carbon open days are planned. For further information on Applied Energy’s low carbon, low energy products and compliance with Parts L & F.
