The Thermocast system from Tarmac Precast Concrete is a complete building temperature control concept. Embedded in precast concrete, it combines strength and durability with proven energy efficiency.

The concrete panels have pipework embedded in them for both hot and cold water. Cooled or warmed water is sent through the pipe work via special temperature controllers. Differential mean radiant temperatures between the concrete, which is a highly efficient thermal store, and the occupied space provides passive heating or cooling, the ultimate in comfort levels.
