Five RIBA Members Rewarded in Queen's Birthday Honours 2007

Four chartered members and one honorary fellow of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) have been rewarded in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.

The following RIBA chartered members were rewarded:

  • David Adjaye received an OBE for services to architecture

  • Professor Peter Frederic Chester Cook received a Knighthood for services to architecture

  • James Walter Thorburn Simpson received an OBE for services to built heritage in Scotland

  • Barrie Samuel Todd received an MBE For services to architecture in Northern Ireland
     

The following RIBA honorary fellow was also rewarded:

  • Ruth Hope Kamen, former Director and Sir Banister Fletcher Librarian of the British Architectural Library, Royal Institute of British Architects, received an MBE for services to architecture.
