Catnic, the leading manufacturer of lintels and building components, has improved its PVCu plasterer’s beads making them easier and safer to handle on site.
Previously, Catnic’s PVCu beads featured cut outs on the outside edge of the product but, after customer feedback indicated that these notches had occasionally caused problems, Catnic took action to supply safer beads to its installers.
The bead has been redesigned to eliminate the cut outs, replacing them with a straight, smooth edge that will not cause injury to users. The new bead has been well received by builders and merchants alike who have welcomed the drive to maintain high Health and Safety standards in the industry.
Catnic’s range of non-corrosive, impact resistant PVCu plasterers’ beads has been designed for use where high moisture or damp may exist internally or externally and as a cost effective alternative to stainless steel. Catnic offers five options in the range - Angle Bead, Plaster Stop Bead, Corner Bead, Bell Cast Render Bead and Dry Wall Corner Arch Bead. Each profile is constructed from white, high density polyvinylchloride external window grade and packed for ease of handling and cutting in convenient polysleeves.
