Lightolier, the leader in interior lighting for over a century, has introduced Tangent, the smallest profile line voltage track lighting system available. Tangent combines extruded aluminum and clear polycarbonate into a low-profile track system that can be installed in a variety of configurations. Ideal for commercial, retail and residential applications, Tangent can be used in straight run arrangements or can be easily bent into architectural curves. Unlike other flexible line voltage systems, Tangent's innovative "side-by-side" busbar design allows the track to be surface mounted flush to ceilings and walls for the most unobtrusive installation.
"Lightolier continues to bring track lighting into the 21st Century with Tangent," says Vice President & General Manager of Lightolier's Track Lighting Business Unit Ken Mackenzie. "Tangent boasts a streamlined look and a flexibility that will enhance any application."
Tangent is available in the following three track styles: surface mounted for the smallest profile, and suspended in both a solid I-Beam or a perforated truss. The Tangent system includes a selection of stylish fixtures that utilize low voltage halogen MR16 and T4 bi-pin lamps, as well as line voltage ES16 and G9 lamps, which deliver the brilliance of low voltage halogen without the need for integral transformers.
Tangent will be available for demonstration at Lightfair International trade show and conference, May 8-10, in booth number 639.
