The days of not being able to find someone to do professional work effectively ended with the February launch of Side Job Trader's website.
By offering home improvement and service professionals a place to advertise, and homeowners a place to find them, www.sidejobtrader.com has been a boon for the growing home improvement and professional services market. And now the site's owners are looking to grow.
"We're really looking to increase the amount of skilled individuals advertising on our website," says site founder Paul A. Magruder. "There are literally hundreds of thousands of people looking to do 'side work', from carpenters to plumbers to auto mechanics, and we want every one of them to advertise with us because it's so effective, and so economical."
Side Job Trader launched in February with a handful of advertisers, and has grown steadily every week. And while Magruder appreciates the steady growth, a shot in the arm would be nice as well. Hence, offering a discount. "Anyone who signs up will receive a coupon code for free advertisement packages, good until June 30th," comments Magruder. "Hopefully, this will get us an influx of people looking to do side work, and offer more and more search options to people who need side work done."
Side Job Trader caters to both self-employed home improvement and service professionals, and also those who work regular jobs but also do similar work "on the side". States Magruder, "Our advertisers are not only self employed professionals, but skilled people just looking for side work. For example, someone who works for a plumbing company doing small plumbing jobs for neighbors on weekends. Or an auto mechanic who works for an auto repair shop, but also fixes cars on the side. They make up a huge portion of our advertiser base."
