Sandtoft Roof Tiles has launched its new website – offering a range of new and improved online resources for architects, specifiers and roofing contractors. The independent roof tile manufacturer has expanded the dynamic content of the website, providing new downloadable resources that include detailed product information and technical guides.
Sandtoft marketing director Nick Oldridge commented:
“The internet is one of the most popular reference points for any industry professional, and we wanted to unlock the potential of our website to become a regular source of valued information for our customers.”
According to the latest figures, over 57 percent of UK households have access to the internet, and the percentage is even higher amongst businesses. Over the past twelve months, Sandtoft has experienced a 51 percent rise in website traffic; and the recent improvements to the site look set to continue that momentum into 2007 and beyond.
Nick Oldridge added:
“Websites are no longer a simple sales tool; they are a key component of a business’ customer relationship management strategy, and everything we have added or improved on the site has been with our customers in mind.”
The content of the new website has been divided into three key categories: products, technical support and resources. ‘Our Products’ provides comprehensive product data and service information for Sandtoft’s extensive range of roof tile products, the ‘Technical Support’ section offers a vast library of CAD details, fixing guides and design advice, whilst the ‘Resource Centre’ boasts downloadable case studies, images and press information.
Brand new features for the site include user guides and fixing tables for the Zonal Method of roof tile fixing, introduced last year to help roofing contractors develop quick and comprehensive fixing specifications. Sandtoft has also outlined its unique environmental philosophy in a ‘Green Resolution’, which can be accessed from the website’s new-look home page.
