We are delighted to announce the launch of Durapipe SuperFLO, a fully integrated system of pipes, fittings and valves specifically designed for the building services market to cater for the requirements of chilled water and boosted cold water applications.
Strengthening our building services portfolio, Durapipe SuperFLO offers superior performance benefits to specifiers and contractors. Durapipe SuperFLO is an extremely robust material and remains ductile down to minus 40°C, maintaining excellent impact resistance.
The innovative system also offers exceptional benefits during the installation stage of a project. At one-sixth the weight of steel, Durapipe SuperFLO is significantly easier to handle on site and coupled with a simple solvent welding jointing technique, the system offers significant savings on labour time and cost throughout the installation process.
The pipework solution also offers a fully matched range of fittings and accessories to offer the ultimate in flexibility for specifiers and contractors. A new White Solvent Cement has been introduced purely for the Durapipe SuperFLO range to provide a visual indication that a proper joint has been made between pipe and fitting. An additional enhanced feature is alignment markings on the pipe and fittings to ensure a perfect 90° or 180° location of fittings can be achieved. Following client feedback, Durapipe UK has also introduced 3 metre and 6 metre pipe lengths into the SuperFLO range to meet customer requirements.
Commenting on the launch of Durapipe SuperFLO, Martyn Rowlands, our Head of Marketing said: “Durapipe SuperFLO has been developed with customers in mind. Chilled and boosted cold water applications amount to a large proportion of the building services market and we wanted to develop a system specifically designed to meet these requirements.”
“Durapipe SuperFLO strengthens our portfolio to ensure we can offer a range of systems that cater for the specific requirements of various applications within the building services market.”
