Best Use Of Construction Materials

BRE and the Co-Construct partnership (comprising BSRIA, CIRIA, the Concrete Society, SCI and TRADA) have begun a year long program to promote the best use of construction materials to the housing sector.

The programs aims to promote:

• more efficient and reliable use of materials
• improved material interaction
• faster adoption of new products, materials and techniques
• reduction of inappropriate material use
• improved co-operation between material suppliers
• greater acceptance and appreciation of industry research
• materials information driven by industry needs
