RNL Hosts "Green Week"

RNL Design is proud to announce that 62 of its employees have received Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accreditation from the U.S. Green Building Council. This number represents more than 50% of the firm's total design staff, including architects, interior designers, landscape architects and engineers. RNL has made a commitment to apply sustainable design practices to each and every one of its projects, and continues to encourage its staff to learn about sustainable design, most recently by hosting its first-ever "Green Week" in late January. The event was a weeklong series of presentations, movies, building tours and roundtable discussions, all focused on green design and construction. Buildings are estimated to account for 35% or more of U.S. energy demands, according to the USGBC.

"We recognize the need to support and encourage our employees' efforts to learn as much as possible about green design, so our clients can continue to count on us as an expert sustainable design resource," said Josh Gould, CEO of RNL. "Green Week was an enormous success, a lot of fun, and we look forward to perpetuating this new tradition," he added. To further support its commitment to sustainable design, in 2006, RNL purchased wind power in the form of Green-e certified renewable energy certificates to provide energy to each of its three offices.

RNL is an integrated full service architectural firm with offices in Denver, Los Angeles, and Phoenix serving clients locally, nationally and internationally. Celebrating its 50th year in business, RNL provides innovative and inspired design solutions to clients. RNL offers clients a continuum of design services, including architecture, interior design, landscape architecture, urban design and planning, and engineering.
