Grand Opening of New Masonry Design Showroom Announced by PBM

Peninsula Building Materials (PBM), Northern California's leader in natural stone, brick, architectural and fabricated materials since 1923, is announced the grand opening of the new showroom in Mountain View, California today.

This superbly crafted 8,500 square foot facility was designed by Gensler of San Francisco. Gensler has been recognized by The American Institute of Architects (AIA) as a model for the design professions in the 21st century and was awarded AIA's prestigious Architecture Firm Award.

"Almost every inch of our new showroom floor is covered with gorgeous material originating from points around the world," said Marty Morey, PBM Vice President. Morey supervised the 18-month construction of the new showroom and hand selected much of the interior materials.

"Once entering PBM's new masonry and design showroom, you will experience a fantastic display of 300 varieties of beautiful natural stone, brick and thin veneer. You're able to see, feel and touch real examples of how craftsmen have transformed the finest materials into house fronts, fireplaces, fountains, seat walls, counter tops, barbeques and even a working pizza oven," stated Roxanne Kohlin, PBM's Showroom Manager. "Whether designing for residential or commercial projects, we invite you to come in and be inspired," Kohlin went on to say.
