Mosaic Tile Market, "Your Online Tile Showroom" based in Scotts Valley California has developed an online tool for their signature modwalls brand of glass tile blends.
Modwalls glass tile blends were created by the company in 2005 as a way to market the Kaleidoscope line of vitreous glass tile in unique blend combinations. These retro inspired designs with names like Kahuna, Tiki, Bungalow and Popart have become favorites with architects, designers and modern design enthusiasts throughout North America. The tile comes in randomly blended sheets and is most often used for bathrooms, shower enclosures, kitchen backsplashes, pool, fountains and even flooring.
The company keeps over 45 modwalls and Kaleidoscope 3/4" glass tile blends in stock and ready for immediate delivery, but many clients want customize blends. After several months of programming and testing the modwalls tile blender is now available for use online.
This tool allows customers to create their own blends from the 85 color Kaleidoscope pallet, and even try out a variety of grout colors, get exact pricing information and calculate square footage requirements. Once a customer is satisfied with their blend choice(s), they can email a copy to themselves and to modwalls for purchase.
Mosaic Tile Market produces their modwalls tile blends with the help of HOPE Services; a non profit workshop for developmentally disabled adults. HOPE's clients work quickly and efficiently to produce most blends in just one week; no matter the size.
Plans are in the works to add several other lines of glass tile to the modwalls custom blender.
The modwalls brand of "Architectural Surfaces That Inspire" features other lines of tile including glass tile gradients made from the modwalls blends, ModDots glass penny rounds, HipBrix glass subway tile, Squares glass tile, Cork Deluxe and, coming soon, ModRocks polished pebble tile.
Mosaic Tile Market sells their own modwalls brand as well as Alchemy steel tile, Lyric unglazed porcelain tile and Kaleidoscope, Aura Metallic, Prism and Illuminati glass tile brands. All products are available for purchase online and are shipped throughout the North America.
