Here is good news for any person working on a building project. The Stand-Up-Guy™ is an assistant that works 24/7, this free standing clamp can hold a solid core door horizontally to prep for hanging. It can be used to hold windows, plywood, signage, room dividers and many other materials that carpenters and do-it-yourselfers often need to have held in place while they work on, or finish a particular building project.
Stand-Up-Guy™ is tough and ready to work. Made of heavy gauge ABS plastic, it is virtually unbreakable. The Stand-Up-Guy™ will stand-up to jobsite conditions. The jaws of the Stand-Up-Guy™ are strong and will hold up to everyday construction use or just for that one project that you have been waiting to finish.
Stand-Up-Guy™ is easy to use. Set the material that you need to hold width wise (horizontally) and off center at base of the Stand-Up-Guy™. (The upper jaws will be wider; Stand-Up-Guy™ is pre-measured and ruled for adjustment with the easy grip adjusting nut.) Then place your material in the jaws, and as the weight is absorbed the jaws will squeeze the material tightly in place. Stand-Up-Guy™ with his adjustable width jaws, spread wider at the top and then close up when the weight of the material is put in place, thus locking in the material.
Stand-Up-Guy is created by a carpenter/builder
“I made a wood version of the Stand-Up-Guy™ over thirty years ago,” said Harry Eberle, President of Eberle Builders of Califon, New Jersey. “I used it so much that I decided to design one and make it available to carpenters and do-it-yourselfers alike.”
Stand-Up-Guy is developed and manufactured by Blue Heron Enterprises, LLC manufactures of the award winning EB-TY® Hidden Fastening System™
