Intelligent Lighting Control Kit

Polaron Controls has released an inexpensive pre-wire kit that allows the future installation of intelligent lighting control. The Lightlink Pre-wire Kit (LPK) can be installed at low cost by developers and it then enables the eventual purchaser to decide whether they prefer to have conventional or intelligent lighting.

The compact LPK enclosure is installed during the first-fix stage and dual wiring (conventional and data cable) is run to the wall switch boxes. If the purchaser requires the upgrade to intelligent lighting, all that is required is to connect both sets of cables to control plates and fit processor and dimmer modules in the LPK.

Intelligent lighting controls not only offer the luxury of lighting remote control, but they can also enhance safety and security. Additionally, not all circuits need be converted and some circuits may be left with conventional switching. Even if the purchaser opts for conventional lighting, the value of the property is enhanced as it can be easily converted at a future time.

Polaron Lightlink systems can also be seamlessly integrated with control systems, data networks and multi-room audio. Polaron lighting controls are designed and manufactured in the UK and include a full range of control devices with standard and custom finishes, including infrared control plates, LCD touch screens and touch plates.
