OGC Organise Conference for all Senior Construction People in the UK

The Office of Government Commerce has organised an important conference for all senior construction people in the UK, in September.

Whether you are in the public or private sector, this autumn conference is one that you simply cannot afford to miss – if you are a serious professional, and passionate about reaping the best benefits in the industry for your organisation or company.

A valuable study, the Demand Capacity Report, will be highlighted at the conference, to be held at the Victoria Park Plaza in London, on Monday, September 25, 2006.

OGC has pulled together a high-profile line-up of speakers, who will provide valuable insight into the construction industry and the tools that are being put in place to enable the industry to work together to achieve the optimum balance of demand and capacity.

Together, they will explore the business benefits of this new approach, enabling you to contribute fully in developing the systems and process that can maximise the value for money potential.

The speakers include

  • Sir Christopher Kelly, chairman of the Public Sector Construction Clients' Forum (PSCCF),
  • David Adamson, OGC Director Smarter Construction,
  • John Ioannou, OGC's Senior Responsible Owner of the 2005-2015 Construction Demand/Capacity Study,
  • Heather Hancock from Deloitte, Neil Blake from Experian, and Guy Hazelhurst from the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB),
  • Peter Mann, from Corporate Document Services, and
  • Sir John Bourn KCB – Comptroller Auditor National Audit Office (NAO).
