Tetra Tech Bags Architecture Engineering Services Contract Worth $125 Million from USAID

Tetra Tech, Inc. announced today that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has awarded the Company a $125 million, single-award contract to provide comprehensive architecture-engineering services to USAID/Afghanistan.

Under the five-year Engineering Support Program (ESP), Tetra Tech will provide engineering services, construction oversight, and quality assurance assistance to successfully implement USAID’s infrastructure design and construction activities.

Improvements to Afghanistan’s infrastructure are ongoing, as the country addresses a lack of regular maintenance, and limited investment in physical infrastructure. Tetra Tech will provide engineering expertise to support USAID’s activities in water and sanitation, energy, and infrastructure in the region.

“Tetra Tech has provided the USAID/Afghanistan Mission with architecture-engineering services for the past seven years,” said Dan Batrack, Tetra Tech’s Chairman and CEO. “We are pleased to continue providing infrastructure support to help USAID promote a more stable and prosperous future for Afghanistan.”
