NV5 Global, Inc. (the "Company" or "NV5"), a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions, announced today that it has been selected to provide construction management and inspection services for the Miramar Clearwell Improvements Project in San Diego, CA in the amount of $7.4 million.
Built in 1959 and 1974, both Clearwells located at the Miramar Water Treatment Plant are nearing the end of their service lives. NV5's Infrastructure team will be involved at all stages of the complex project, which aims to demolish the existing clearwells, as well as ancillary piping and facilities, construct two new clearwells, combining the existing storage facilities and increasing capacity to 58 million gallons, and construction of a new Chlorine Contact Chamber, Lift Station, and Maintenance Building.

About Miramar Water Treatment Plant
The Miramar Water Treatment Plant began operation in 1962 and provides drinking water to an estimated 500,000 customers in the northern section of the City of San Diego. The Plant's capacity is 144 million gallons of treated drinking water per day. Since 2012, the Miramar Water Treatment Plant has participated in the American Water Works Association's Partnership for Safe Water Program and was awarded the Partnership's Director's Award in November 2012 and the Partnership's President's Award in June 2013. Only five other treatment plants in the United States have achieved this prestigious award.
