Skanska to Construct New Ambulatory Care Pavilion on Westchester Medical Center Campus

Skanska has signed a contract with Westchester Medical Center, New York, for a new Ambulatory Care Pavilion on the existing hospital campus. The contract is worth USD 140M, about SEK 1.2 billion, which will be included in order bookings for Skanska USA Building in the first quarter 2016.

Skanska will build a 26,000 square meter, eight-story Ambulatory Care Pavilion, which will include a new ambulatory operating room suite, imaging center, lobby, physician office space, entry canopy for patient drop-off, and new roof-top mechanical, electrical and plumbing units. The team will also build the interior spaces and expand the existing parking lot.

Construction is expected to commence in June 2016 and is slated for completion in September 2018.
