Primoris Services Secures $18 Million Worth Heavy Civil Contracts

Primoris Services Corporation today announced three new heavy civil awards with a combined value of approximately $18 million.

The contracts were secured by James Construction Group, part of the East Construction Services segment. All three contracts were awarded by the Texas Department of Transportation.

  • The first award is for the construction of northbound auxiliary lanes on SH 71 in Colorado County, Texas. The project includes earthwork, treated subgrade, base and approximately 65,000 tons of asphalt paving. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2016 and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2017.
  • The second award is for overlaying three roadways in Waller and Fort Bend Counties, Texas. The project includes milling existing asphalt paving, one course of surface treatment and approximately 38,341 tons of asphalt paving. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2016 and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2016.
  • The third award is for overlaying US 59 in Wharton County, Texas. The project includes milling existing asphalt paving, one course of surface treatment, and approximately 31,000 tons of asphalt paving. Construction is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2016 and is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2016.
