Peab Receives Contract for Building E6 Motorway Stretch

Peab has been contracted to build a motorway stretch of the E6 between Trondheim and Melhus, Norway. The client is the Norwegian Public Roads Administration and the contract amounts to NOK 1.16 billion.

The project includes the construction of eight km two-lane motorway flyovers, six kilometers of pedestrian and bike paths, four kilometers local roads and trenches, bridges and tunnels in connection with the project.

The mission will be carried through in collaboration between Peab's civil engineering operations in Norway and Sweden. Work will begin in March 2016 is expected to be ready for traffic in spring 2019.

The project will be reported in the first quarter in 2016.
