Sports Field Holdings, Inc., an innovative product development company engaged in the design, engineering and construction of athletic facilities and sports complexes, today announced that the Company has been awarded an estimated $4.29MM design-build contract from St. Joseph by-the-Sea High School to design and manage the construction of their new Viking Student Center.
The 15,600 square foot building will be two levels and feature a state-of-the-art weight room, cheerleading and dance room, three locker rooms for student athletes, and an after school café for students to enjoy while on campus in the afternoon. "We are excited to once again be working with SportsField Engineering," said Father Michael P. Reilly, Principal of St. Joseph by-the-Sea. "Their innovative approach to design of collegiate facilities is the best we have seen and we are thrilled with their suggestions and recommendations. The Viking Student Center will serve hundreds of students daily who stay after school for sports and other activities and enhance the overall experience of our students by providing a more collegiate atmosphere. It is our hope that the entire Staten Island Community will benefit from this beautiful addition to our campus."
