Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. announced today that it received a contract from the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) to provide construction engineering inspection services for the US 75/Interchange Improvements Project from the President George Bush Turnpike to Park Boulevard in Collin County.

Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing construction, engineering and inspection services to TxDOT for improvements to the US 75/President George Bush Turnpike interchange, including improvements of two direct connectors, extension of the railroad bridge, constructing new auxiliary lanes and demolishing/reconstructing the Plano Parkway Bridge that spans across US 75. In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Randy Pierce stated, “We are pleased to continue our long-term relationship with TxDOT and look forward to working on these complex and much needed improvements in Collin County. Together with other planned improvements along US 75, this project will help enhance the safety and mobility of the travelling public in the region.”
