Aarsleff Enters Contract with Maersk Group to Construct New Office Building in Copenhagen

Per Aarsleff A/S has entered into a contract for the construction of a new office building for the Maersk Group at Amerika Plads in Copenhagen’s North Harbour.

Aarsleff is to carry out the office building as a design & build contract and is to carry out earthwork, sewer work, pile driving, concrete and element work in own production. In addition, Aarsleff’s subsidiary Wicotec Kirkebjerg A/S is to carry out technical installations, including electricity, plumbing and ventilation. Facade and fitting out work will be carried out by subcontractors.

The six-storey office building will have a total area of 13,000 square metres plus 3,000 square metres of basement.

The contract has a total value of over DKK 200 million, and the client is A.P. Møller - Mærsk A/S. Aarsleff has appointed PLH Arkitekter A/S as consultant and MOE A/S as subconsultant.

The construction work starts in early September 2015 and is scheduled for completion in the summer of 2017.
