YIT Signs EUR 11 Million Construction Contract with Senate Properties for New Kotka Police House in Finland

YIT has signed a contract with Senate Properties on the construction of the new police house in Kotka. The project will be carried out with a Senate Properties specific alliance model.

The value of the project is around EUR 11 million. Construction begins in July 2015 and the project will be completed in October 2016.

The new approximately 6,000 square metre premises will be built in a city block west of the current police house in the Kotkansaari district in the city of Kotka. The project will provide functional facilities for the South-Eastern Finland Police that fulfil the modern day technical, prudential, health and safety requirements in a cost efficient way.
