Privé Developers, LLC, led by co-developers BH3 and Gary Cohen as Principal, announced today that Privé at Island Estates is now in its second month of foundation construction. In a separate but related matter, a judge recently further confirmed what the Developer and The City of Aventura have always maintained, that vested rights exist without question.
"This is a major achievement for us in bringing the project to fruition and the development team could not be more excited," said co-developer Daniel Lebensohn. "We are moving full speed ahead, having experienced another great sales month in May."
Groundbreaking marks the latest of several advancements throughout the last week for developers of the one-of-a-kind, luxury real estate project, listed at No. 14 on Elite Traveler's "Most Desired Ultra-Luxury Residential Developments in the World" (and No. 1 in Florida).
Designed by renowned architects Sieger Suarez, Privé's twin towers will rise 16-stories above the exclusive, eight-acre north island located between Williams Island and Sunny Isles Beach. A total of 160 ultra-luxury residences range in size from 2,585 square feet to more than 9,000 square feet in select penthouse units. Each residence will include private elevator entry, flow-through floor plans with 10-foot glass on both eastern and western exposures, 10-foot deep balconies, expansive east/west water views throughout, European kitchens and bathrooms, as well as outdoor summer kitchens.
First-class, resort-style amenities and services include a 10,000 square-foot gym and spa in each tower, private dining and social rooms, pool-side café, wine and cigar rooms, kids rooms, tennis court, two pools, marina, private pier, nature trail, private beach, jogging path, full-time concierge, and 24-hour gated and roving security for the privately bridged island.
