Construction Defect Center Launches Aggressive Initiative Focused on Construction Defects in New Homes

The Construction Defect Center is launching an initiative to help homeowners in a newer subdivision, or condominium projects in California, Washington, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, or Colorado, if their stucco, or wood siding is showing signs of failing, if their roof is leaking, or if their windows fail to open, close properly or if the windows are leaking.

The Construction Defect Center is launching an aggressive initiative in the US West focused on making certain homeowners, who within the last few years have purchased a new home in a subdivision, a condominium project or townhouse, do not get left holding the bag for expensive repair bills to fix shoddy workmanship, or to replace defective products.

Their initiative is focused on construction defects in new homes in a subdivision, condominium units, or townhouses in California, Washington, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona. The Center is urging homeowners in these states to call them anytime at 866-714-6466 if their wood or stucco siding has cracked or has failed, if their roof is leaking, if their windows are leaking, if their home's windows fail to open or close properly, and/or if a homeowner has had repeated appliance or plumbing problems.

The Construction Defect Center says, "If you live in California, Arizona, Colorado, or Nevada and your new home's stucco has begun to crack, or if you live in Oregon or Washington and your exterior wood siding is starting to warp or turn black from mold, it might not seem like a big deal - but it is. Another problem we know for certain that exists in newer homes in subdivisions or condominium units is the homebuilder used super cheap appliances that only last a few years."

The Center believes the biggest problem for new construction homeowners in any one of these situations is they ignore construction defect problems after first moving in, and/or they ignore the construction defects after their one-year home warranty period is up.

Further complicating the problem, homeowners in new subdivisions, condominium projects, or townhouses infrequently talk to each other, or compare notes, so they fail to understand their construction defect issue is shared by numerous others. The common denominator is the homebuilder.
