Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences in North Miami Beach celebrated the official groundbreaking of its second luxury condominium tower. The event was held on February 21, just three weeks after the first tower enjoyed its formal topping off. City officials, buyers, top brokers and other real estate professionals attended the event.
"Every phase of this project is progressing on schedule, from the construction and topping off of the north tower to the groundbreaking of the south tower," said Anthony Burns, a principal of The DevStar Group. "With each milestone, we're closer to bringing this unique multi phased development to fruition."
The south tower site has been graded and the general contractor, Coastal Construction, and its team of subcontractors have mobilized and started construction. The first phase includes site preparation and the use of augers to drill and install support pilings to create the first stage of the foundation.
Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences is a novel luxury condominium development that combines two, 25-story towers and a combined 468 residences with a full-service yacht club and marina. The project is being developed by affiliates of The Plaza Group and The DevStar Group.
The first building will include two-, three- and four-bedroom residences and penthouses featuring such luxury amenities as butler service, infinity-edge pool and hot tub, a state-of-the-art gym, a spa with treatment rooms, a sauna, a steam room and workout studios, a news cafe, club room with bar, pool table and 100-inch-plus TV, children's playroom and teen lounge. The development will have secure, gated-access with 24-7 valet service. The south tower will feature many of the same amenities.
The full-service, namesake yacht club and marina is already under construction. Once completed this summer, it will feature 112 boat slips for yachts up to 90 feet. Marina Palms Yacht Club & Residences is the first luxury high-rise residential and full-service marina/yacht club development to be built in Miami-Dade in the past 20 years.
